I'm finding my hands!

Today Jack saw his hand! I don't think he has found them completely, but he is very close. He will catch a glimpse of them and stare at them for a little while. I know it won't be long!!

Fun at the greenway

Today we went to the new section of the greenway. This is over by highway 99. We had a little picnic and just hung out for a little while. Here are a few pics of our greenway visit.

I love to smile!

When I was pregnant, Craig and I prayed over my belly every single night. We prayed for his health and development. We also prayed that he would be a happy, content baby. Well God seriously answered our prayers. This is definately one of the happiest babies I have ever seen! He is always smiling!! (Just like his daddy!) It just melts my heart to see him smile.

I've found my thumb

So he finally did it...He has found his thumb. We have been trying so hard to not let him suck his thumb, but he has a different idea about that. He has definately found it, but he hasn't really gotten the hang of it yet. Hopefully he will get tired of trying and not do it for long! I don't want him to be a thumb sucker...but it's so stinkin' cute!!!

Fun at the lake!

This weekend Jack had his first trip to the lake. My parents have a cabin on Kentucky lake...so we took Jack for the weekend. He did really well! He loves being outside...as long as he doesn't get to hot. He wore his little swimsuit and had a big ole time. We took him on the boat and out to eat at our favorite resturant...Catfish Kitchen. Mommy and Daddy love to eat there and clog our arteries!! It is definately a heart attack waiting to happen. We had a really good time and can't wait to make many more trips to the lake.

2 month doctors visit

Today was Jacks' two month check-up. Daddy and I were dreading this visit! My sweet baby boy had to get his shots. It was awful! Awful for Craig and I! Jack did really well. He only cried for about 30 seconds. I was in charge of distracting him with sugar water and Craig was the arm holder. Our nurse, Shelley did a great job. It happened so fast I only had time to tear up...not ball like a baby. He weighs 12 lbs and is 22 inches long, so he has gained 6 lbs and grown 3 inches. He is getting so big so fast. Dr. Chandler said that Jack looked great and that he is very happy with his progress! He is so perfect and such a good baby!

This was taken just seconds after he was delivered. Craig and I are estatic! We were so glad he was healthy! We are truly blessed and know he is a gift from God. We love you little man!

That's one proud papa!

I will never ever forget the moment I first laid eyes on my little man. When they laid him on my chest...I completely lost it! There are no words to express all the emotions you feel. I never knew I could love something so much. He completely stole my heart!

our baby boy is here!!

On March 25,2009, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy!! His name is Jackson Tucker Dame, but we are going to call him Jack. He was absolutely PERFECT! They actually had to induce me 1 week early due to complications from kidney stones. He arrived at 9:07 am. He weighed 6 lbs and 4oz. He was 19 inches long. He is so beautiful and he is more perfect than we could have ever imagined. God has truley blessed us with the desires of our hearts. There is no other love more special than the love you have for your child. We are so blessed.

South Fulton Baby Shower

We were also blessed with a third baby shower! This one was held in Fulton. Ky. Three of my best friends gave me this shower. Morgan Tibbs, Brittany Tibbs. and Julie Morris. They are all like sisters to me! We got a lot of useful gifts and it was so good to see everybody!! I am so thankful for all of my friends!!!

Murfreesboro Baby Shower

This is me and Katie lookin' good....yeah right!! Lookin' really pregnant! She also had a little boy, Nathaniel. Nathaniel is only one week older than Jack, So Katie and I agree that they will be best buddies!

We were blessed to have friends of ours in Murfreesboro give us a shower too! Kristen Fager. Jodi Hoevelmann, and Ashley Benson are all three very close friends of mine who had another baby shower for us! We had such a great time and we got lots of great gifts. The most memorable thing about this shower were the baby prayer cards! I will cherish these always. Thanks again girls for such a wonderful shower!

Baby Shower at Craig's Work

Craig's office had a baby shower for Craig and I in February. It was so nice! I feel so very blessed for Craig to work for a company like that! The shower was held at Craig's office and we received a lot of nice gifts and we had a wonderful time! Thanks guys! We really appreciate everything!
